For this month's blog hop, I made a layout using my Hearts Like Dogs stamp set (711). If you know me, you know why I chose this stamp set. These pups are so cute and could be altered in so many different ways. I also really love the saying and I find that it could not be more true.

I used my doggie stamps on vellum to make my own patterned paper. I stamped the dog images with Versamark and then heat embossed them [left to right] using Cappuccino Star (EP434), Copper Peddler (EP264S), Black Detail (EP171S), and Coffee (EP459). I strategically adhered the vellum to my page and then I just added some bits and pieces from my stash to finish my layout.
I stamped the sentiment using Versafine ink. I really love this ink for sentiments. It really gives a crisp, clean image every time.
Thank you so much for stopping today and for your comments. The next stop on the hop will be Marie.
supplies
patterned paper: Crate Paper (Kiss Kiss)
project life cards: Seven Paper (Baxter)[gold]; Misc Me! (Happy Tails)
washi: Studio Calico (dog mini kit)
shaped clip: The Paper Studio
