I've been gone so long! I was a little rusty making this page, but I like the outcome. I used some older Pink Paislee Pick Me Up papers and embellishments + some Heidi Swapp Pineapple Crush die cuts.

My cut file is from Paper Issues. I turned it into a shaker with some Spiegelmom Scraps Fancy Flight + Rose Gold Glory.

One of the reasons I've been MIA is that we closed on our house and moved in. I had planned a birthday party for my friend for three weeks after we moved in. So we had a lot of work to do! This photo was taken at her party - she had a good time! :)

Hello again!

I took a sort of unanticipated leave of absence from the blogging world because we finally closed on our new house! We have spent the majority of April moving and getting settled. Still not there yet, but getting closer every day :)

I purchased some of the Magnolia Moments collection from Fancy Pants a while back with the intention of using it to scrap some of our new house. Our old home sold in eight days in October (!) so we have been living with my mom. The real estate market here is moving very fast! We finally found this one in February and closed April 9!

April Pick Your Side Sketch Challenge at Scrap Our Stash.

Here's our April Pick Your Side Sketch Challenge! I chose the right side and used some photos from December when we took a horse and carriage ride downtown.

I pulled out my Christmas stash for this page, but didn't make it too Christmasy themed. For some reason, it looks distorted and crooked, but it isn't in real life.

Unfortunately I don't have buttons, brads, or enamel dots (I know, right?!) so I used some epoxy flair from my stash. Thanks for looking!

I bet you guessed by the title that this would be a wedding page. You would be correct!

I'm using the new Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Love this so much! The Happy Vibes sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps are made to match this collection!

I used my fine line applicator and Ranger multi medium matte to adhere all these little sequins. I thought it would make the 'day' stand out a little more so you could see what the cut file said. Applying all these sequins didn't take as long as you might think!

my heart [Guest Designing at Die Cuttin' Divas].

Hello! I was fortunate to guest design for Die Cuttin' Divas last year and I'm thrilled to be guest designing this year too! Our topic this time is animal cruelty.

This is my boy at my wedding last August. He was our 'dog of honor' and he did amazing! I love this black and white photo of him. He looks so elegant :)

I used two cut files on this page, both are free at Paper Issues. I used some sequins to fill in the heart in my title. I just applied multi medium matte and then sprinkled some sequins on top. Thanks for looking!

I used a lot of Elle's Studio purple bits from my stash. I have plenty because I don't really use purple. But when I was sent these Magical Unicorn sequins, I knew I had to use them. They're gorgeous!

Today I was inspired by Sketch 368 at Sketches in Thyme. I used the strips of paper only on the top half of the page and downsized to one photo so I could include the cut files.

I'm trying really, really hard not to buy any of the fun new products because we're closing on our house and we have tons of expensive plans for it. So this was a stash busting page for me :)

When I saw this week's challenge at Lasting Memories, it was right up my alley. It's about taking a relaxing day for yourself instead of doing housework!

I'm so embarrassed I forgot to cut out the inside of the U. Didn't realize it until the page was completely done! :(

This tiny little photo was taken while my husband I were going for a drive with Bentley, my favorite dog. I know you're not supposed to have a favorite, but of our three, he's my baby. He loves to try to be up in the front seat with us. In my new 4Runner, he's found a way to put his butt on the seat, his legs on the floor, and his face in the middle of us.

I'm also loosely playing along with the Scraplift Sunday challenge at Paper Issues this week. I tried to keep everything to the center of my page like Angie did, but the cut file I wanted to use was just too wide.

The Scrap the Boys challenge this month is Let's Eat Cake. I combined this challenge with the single page sketch challenge at Stick It Down.

I found these photos of my brother's first birthday and thought they would be perfect. I did this page in 8.5x11 sizes because my older layouts are in an 8.5x11 size album. It was a little difficult to fit three photos on the page, especially because these photos were taken in the '80s and the color and quality is not the best.

I did a stash busting page here with lots of Elle's Studio bits and random pieces from my stash. I chose the Boyish Charm sequins for this age because I love the blue.
