Mom Moments.

Sharing a layout I made for one of the April challenges at Paper Issues. The challenge was to create a project about BABIES. So I grabbed a photo of my new baby nephew!

This is a free cutfile from Paper Issues + the rest is from Elle's Studio. Thanks for looking!

Congrats.

I like to include invitations on my wedding pages when I can. The invite includes all the details of the day so all you have left to do is embellish! Super easy!

All of my die cuts are from The Avenue collection by Jen Hatfield. I've been trying to use these up for ages!

Simply Lovely.

This page is for the final challenge at My Little Scrapbook Store's online crop. It ends today! I completed four layouts. This is my new nephew, Grayson!

This challenge was to use a cut file and I found this one in my stash from The Cut Shoppe. Thanks for looking!

L O V E [Challenge YOUrself 100].

Time for a new theme at Challenge YOUrself! This is our 100th challenge and we are using all the stars to celebrate.

My cut file is from Paper Issues and it was the star of the show. These photos aren't too great, but this was only the third time we had gotten to see our nephew at this point because of Covid (and they live three hours away).

Thanks for looking!

Wild Card Saturday.

Where my Bengals fans at? We paid a ridiculous amount of money for first row seats behind the Bengals bench for the Wild Card game against the Raiders. It. Was. Amazing.

This is another page for the My Little Scrapbook Store crop going on now. This challenge was to do a layout about sports. Thanks for looking!

You Color My World.

Here's another page for the crop going on at My Little Scrapbook Store. This challenge was to use ROY G BIV colors.

This is my oldest nephew, who is 18 months now. Coincidentally, my second nephew was born today! I spent SO much time on this page that I did no further embellishing. Those shakers and that mixed media took forever! But it was so worth it. I absolutely L O V E the final result. Thanks for looking!

Giving Him Life [Challenge YOUrself 99]!

If there's one topic I could scrap for the rest of my life... it's pets! That makes this challenge one of my favorites.

For this page, I chose to do a layout about Pax, who was my foster puppy of summer 2021. He was about eight weeks old and So. Much. Work. But he really was super sweet and smart and he got a fantastic furever home and I stay in touch with them. I love them so much for him and he really is living his best life now.

The title was taken from a Facebook post I shared on the day he was officially adopted. People ask me all the time, "How do you do it? How do you give them up?" I'm not giving him up. I'm giving him life.

I encourage everyone to sign up with a local humane society or rescue and foster once. Just once! It will change your life - and the life of the animal you foster.

palm trees are my spirit animal.

My Little Scrapbook Store is hosting a Facebook crop this month and this is for the first challenge I'm completing. This challenge was to scrapbook something that makes you feel lucky or blessed.

I feel lucky that I am able to vacation to tropical locations where I can see palm trees and the ocean. Thanks for looking!

merry merry.

Another page for my nephew's album to share! He's getting a little brother soon so I wanted to knock out some pages for his album so I don't get too far behind. The inspiration for this page is from last week's sketch challenge at Lasting Memories.

This background paper is a really pretty watercolor-ish print from Kaiser Craft (Peace & Joy collection) from a couple years ago. I was kind of hoarding it because it's really pretty. [Sorry for my cropping of this photo - I just realized it's super uneven!] Everything else is Elle's Studio. Thanks for looking!

starting daycare.

This page was just for fun and using some stash items. Some Bella Blvd paper + tag scraps, an Elle's Studio journal card and some epoxy flair. I added some sequins for a little bit of interest.

Thanks for looking!

Life is full of adventure!

Today I have a layout using one of the sketch challenges at Lasting Memories this month. I switched the circles in the sketch out for hearts, but used the three photos and kept the placement pretty close.

Thanks for looking!

Lee Brice [Challenge YOUrself 98].

Hello again friends! This year, I hope to have more time to scrapbook. For the first time in quite a while, I only have one nursing job! With that said, our challenge this month at Challenge YOUrself is a color palette! I love these pretty colors.

I printed off a couple photos from this past October when we saw Lee Brice. We got to meet him after the show and take a photo with him. It was pretty cool!

This page was made mostly with items from the January add ons from Elle's Studio. The colors were perfect for this challenge. Thanks for looking!

warm & cozy.

Hello again! I'm playing along with the February Stick it Down challenge! I love this sketch so much - Laura is SO talented.

I used the Autumn Splendor collection from Pink Fresh. Can you believe I have had this collection and never used any of it yet?! I did add a second little embellishment cluster that is not in the sketch. My cut file is from Paper Issues. Thanks for looking!

supplies
inks: Dina Wakley Medial gloss spray (aloe); Shimmerz Spritz (chance of rain)

Game DEY.

What an appropriate day to make and share this page! WHO DEY baby!! Bengals are heading to the superbowl!!

This page was inspired by the January single page sketch at Stick It Down. I used the stars and the circular pattern, along with the two photos. I made my title a little larger and added a small embellishment cluster to the bottom right.

Thanks so much for looking and let's go Bengals!!

story [Challenge YOUrelf #97].

It's time for another Challenge YOUrself monthly challenge - this month we are focusing on working together. I kept this page very simple - the focus is on the photo and the meaning of my new tattoo. The story behind it.

The pink/blue ribbon is for pregnancy and infancy loss and it has taken a whole lot of work with a whole lot of people to get to the point where I was ready for this and for the attention it would bring. Naturally when people see my tattoo, they ask what the ribbon stands for.

Coincidentally (or maybe not?) the date I got this tattoo, was two years to the exact date of my D & C.
