Paper Wings Productions: love you.

I'm on the Aviary blog today, sharing a Valentine's day card that I made using my Cricut and three different stamps sets from Paper Wings Productions that you initially may not consider for a Valentine's day project. The stamp sets I chose are Say It Winter Greetings, Fall Mix It Up, and Text Melange.
I used the Crate Paper Hello, Love patterned papers which are perfect for this project. For the card, I used one of the script stamps on the front of my card in a light grey color. Because I wanted it to be very subtle, I stamped on a scrap paper first, did not re-ink the stamp, and then stamped a second time on my card.

The Fall Mix It Up stamp set had the 'happy' and 'together' stamps for the front of the card. For the inside of the card, I used 'love' from Say It Winter Greetings and 'you' from Fall Mix It Up stamp set. Mixing words and phrases in your stamp sets is a great way to get more use out of them!

You can see more photos and how I stamped the envelope for this card on the Paper Wings Productions blog today!

move in day.

I put this layout together last night using the January 1 Stuck?! Sketch. I only had two small photos so I shrunk the sketch down to a 8.5x11 size and eliminated one of the photos from the sketch.

This is from the day my little cousin moved into college for his freshman year.

Paper Wings Productions: dance in the rain.

I'm on the PWP blog today sharing a card I made using the Under the Weather stamp set.

I stamped the umbrellas with Memento ink, colored them with Copic markers, and fussy cut them. For my card base, I used Strathmore watercolor paper with Tim Holtz distress inks. This is one of my favorite new techniques I've tried.

My sentiment is from the same stamp set, inked with VersaFine and stamped right onto the card base. I added a strip of glitter at the bottom in a coordinating blue.
Doesn't that water colored background remind you of a rainy day?

Christmas 2015, pocket page style.

Christmas 2015 is wrapped up and in the books! I used the tic tac toe challenge for inspiration for this pocket style page. I went with the top row - gold, sparkles, and acetate.

more with Crate Paper, Hello Love collection.

I've been chugging along, working on some layouts with my new Crate Paper Hello, Love collection. I made these two pages last night.

This first page is a photo of my four cousins that I printed from Instagram. I probably never would use that frame from the ephemera pack but it fit perfectly with this photo. I've also had that wood piece in my stash for quite some time so it was good to use that up!

I'm entering this page in the Creative Corner challenges anything goes challenge.
