love you to the core [card].

I'm sharing a card this week for Your Memories Here. I was inspired by the approaching autumn - colors, foods, weather.

I used the Tim Holtz kraft core paper stack, which is available for only $14.99 - lots of great colors & who doesn't love a kraft core?! I cut the apple from the Give a Hoot Cricut cartridge. Everything was attached with my Helmar tape runner.

The stamp is Joy's Life It's all Fall Puns & the red ink is Tim Holtz quick dry fluid chalk ink in ladybug. (I tried to double stamp the sentiment, first with red & then with black to give it some depth but instead in these pictures it just looks blurry. It looks better in real life.) The ink & the ribbon & the embellishments in the corner can be found in the September Citrus Twist kit.

I recently got my 2nd tattoo. It was kind of spur of the moment, just like my first one, but also totally planned & just what I wanted at the same time. 

I've wanted another one basically since my first one. It's true what they say - they are addicting! I've been hesitant because I've heard comments about how wrist tats are trashy or unprofessional or whatever but ultimately it is what I wanted to do.

I used lots of goodies on this layout. The papers are all Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar & I lovelovelove them. Love all the pinks - it's my favorite color! SO pretty. I also used Prima writer's tape which is kind of cool. There are so many possibilities with this stuff. I curled a piece up and then painted the edges with pink lady Glimmer Glaze (which is so pretty - pink & silver) & then stamped on it with Technique Tuesday stamp set Life in Pictures.

The journal block I cut with my Cricut Sweethearts cartridge & I used the Technique Tuesday Real Life stamp set for the stamp at the bottom.

The photos aren't the greatest - my other friend watching was snapping them with her iPhone & then the bottom picture is one I put on Instagram the next day. The inks I used are Inkadinkado hot pink & Prima quick dry fluid chalk ink in old road. Oh, almost forgot. The big circle I cut from Plantin Schoolbook with the Cricut and it's a Mistable sheet from Pink Paislee. I painted it with the same pink lady Glimmer Glaze. Sooo pretty.

I'm sharing a layout from my friend's wedding last May. Her photographer was awesome & took tons of really great shots. 

I used the Dear Lizzy Neopolitan line.

 I used Technique Tuesday Favorite Memories stamps on the Pink Paislee Mistable muslin ribbon. First I misted it with olive vine Glimmer Mist. I also used some rub ons from Hambly, Pink Paislee, & Jenni Bowlin. Up in the corner are epoxy stickers from Dear Lizzy & London Market chipboard buttons from Pink Paislee (misted with the olive vine Glimmer Mist). The butterfly can be found here.

I received my September Citrus Twist kit today from winning the August sketch challenge & couldn't resist diving into it. I found it way back-to-schooly but I'm not sure why because some of the papers are actually new baby/congratulations. The August kit I absolutely loved & made three layouts + a card. This one is not my style but that's sometimes the great thing about kits - you get what you get & it forces you to step out of your comfort zone. Either way, I am determined to make it work for me. 

 

Here's my first layout & I used this sketch. I really liked the Amy Tan alphabet that came with the kit but didn't like it with this layout so I pulled out some Thickers from my stash. Everything else is from the kit.

 Here's what I've done, using the MME Vintage Nostalgia line.I adore these soft colors & the patterns on these papers.

The pictures were horrible quality so I wanted to print them small. The stamps are Paper Smooches Perpetual Bliss & {Ippity} Music of my Heart. The buttons are MME Follow your Heart & the letter stickers are Making Memories Paper Reverie.

To make the banners for the titles I used the back side of the embellishment die cut sheet included in the MME Vintage Nostalgia packet. I stamped them with the music note stamp from the {Ippity} set.

Using my SC Pincushion kit, this color challenge from Scrap Much?, & this sketch from Sketch n Scrap...

I printed some of my favorite photos from Instagram shots in May & sized them to print on a contact sheet. Kinda small but I scrap 8.5x11 & wanted to fit a bunch of them. I journaled around the outside of the yellow paper about each photo.

This week I have a card to share. I used the diet cut Mistables tags by Pink Paislee.They're on sale  right now for only $1.99! These are really cool. They have hidden designs that come out when you mist them. Or you can use other Tattered Angels paint mediums. I used Glimmer Mist in olive vine. The Your Memories Here store has tons of colors to choose from.

framed ticket wall art.

I came across this on Pinterest way back in like March & knew I would have to make one of my own. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of cool or different tickets. Ours are mostly concerts & sporting events. She was inspired by a similar one at West Elm but I actually like hers a lot better.

So I gathered some of our ticket stubs & Target had 8x10 frames on sale (a 2 pack for less than $5) that I thought that would be great for this project. In retrospect, I think I should've used a larger frame.

I'm featuring Studio Calico Take Note collection on my layout this week for Crafting Family. 

All the papers are from this collection. The stamps are Technique Tuesday Favorite Memories & Unity Throughout all Generations. I also used a stitch blossom from Sass & rub ons & journal spots from Jenni Bowlin.

Reds vs Cubs.

This is my first post for the Your Memories Here design team! Excited to share a layout about the Cubs/Reds game we went to a few weekends ago in Cincinnati. We had so much fun, despite a late start, a horrible traffic jam on the interstate, a detour through back country roads, a minor parking dilemma, & sitting in a loud section three rows off the field. Yes. Our seats were third row back, along the third baseline. Perfection.

Since Pink Paislee is one of my most favorite manufacturers, I thought their Declaration line would look great with a Cubs/Reds page. I was worried this line may be too patriotic for me to use, but I am liking it so far:) 

I also used Unity stamp set throughout all generations.

love life [Pink Paislee Nantucket].

My project this week features Pink Paislee's Nantucket line which I just love. The colors are so pretty & go together so well. You don't need to feel obligated to use it only on beachy themed layouts either. This layout is from my bff's bachelorette party last spring.
