Found an old selfie from after I had my hair done last fall. I don't scrap a lot of selfies, but my hair looks so pretty :)

I was inspired by this month's color challenge at Scrap the Girls. I painted some white acrylic paint on my background patterned paper. Then I used the packaging technique to smudge some distress inks. I've been into the diagonal design lately :)

When I saw this cut file, I immediately thought it would make great shaker pockets and I'd love to showcase some of my spring plants with it. So that's what I did!

I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to photograph this layout. It was super hard to get it straight and cropped so this is the best I could do.

This is the Home Sweet Home collection from Bella Blvd. We moved into a new house this spring so I was excited to see what flowers and plants would be growing in our new house! These were the first few to pop up in early May.

I used Strawberry Tart and Walk in the Park sequins mixes with Summer Morn and Carnival Ride mixes, which are new July releases. Thanks for looking!

Using the Indigo & Ivy collection from Pink Paislee again. This time I'm documenting one of our engagement photos from three years ago. Yep, next month will be THREE years since we got engaged!

This page was inspired by the this or that challenge this month at Paper Issues. So I used one photo, gold, flag/banner, rectangle shape, hearts, washi, photo mat, splatters, and "sweet." I smeared white acrylic paint on the background before I got started and added That Summer Feelin' sequins.

This is a Snapchat pic from back in November when my husband and I went to vote. I thought it was great for the Stars & Stripes challenge at Paper Issues. Also, Last Memories has a challenge to use your country's flag on your page, which I thought would be impossible until I found this old pic!

This turned out to be a stash busting layout. I pulled out some die cuts from Pebbles and a bunch of random bits from Elle's Studio. I used Barn Door + Chipped Sapphire distress ink for the background. For a final touch, I added Firecracker sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps.

I'm playing along with the Scrap Our Stash Saturday Cartoons challenge today! I used the red, white, and blue color theme and included an arrow. 

I also knew that Lasting Memories had a challenge this month to use red, white, and blue. I wanted to participate but NOT make a patriotic layout (that's another challenge). So obviously Cubs colors work for that! :)

Not going to lie, this geometric pattern really messed with me. This was hard for me so I loosely scraplifted her page. I layered some triangle patterned papers in the lower right corner and then tried to arrnage my embellishment cluster in a triangle shape in the upper left corner.

I used the Firecrackers sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps as a sort of photo corner to help emphasize the triangle shape I was attempting.

My woodgrain paper is from Simple Stories and I chose it because it matches our hardwood floors so well. and then I used the Home Sweet Home collection from Bella Blvd. Thanks for looking :)

Feeling inspired by sketch 380 at Sketches in Thyme. I combined the Jen Hadfield Heart of Home collection + Fancy Pants Magnolia Moments for this page. I don't have much from either collection, but luckily they coordinate really well together.

In a wild moment last week, I purchased the Magical Adventure 2 collection from Echo Park. When we were little, our parents took us to Disney World.

Is it ok to use this collection on a non-Disney page? Because I did. These photos are from Six Flags, but I thought the colors in them matched the collection so well!

I was inspired by this month's Let's Get Sketchy sketch, except I rotated the sketch and stacked my photos.

I liked this bow cut file because it really tied into my wreath photo. We had a miscarriage in March and the hospital where I had my D&C offers a miscarriage memorial and burial of the ashes ceremony twice a year. I was on the fence about attending up until the night before. I'm glad we went, but it was sad.

At the ceremony, each couple got a ribbon to write a little message or note or whatever you wanted. Then we tied them onto the wreath. The wreath was placed on the grave site and will stay there until the weather carries it away.

 My brother went on a trip through Europe earlier this year and when I saw the Scrap the Boys challenge this month, I was inspired to scrap one of his photos from Estonia.

I pulled this older Pink Paislee travel themed paper, but I didn't like the stark cream background. So I went a little overboard with mixed media and the packaging technique. Then I added a bunch of stamping to the background too! Yikes. Thanks for looking  :)

I'm inspired by the grid pattern challenge at Challenge YOUrself this month and I wanted to stash bust. I need to use up my Pick Me Up collection from Paige Evans.

I painted over the patterned paper with white acrylic paint to tone it down. Then I added some inks with the packaging technique. Next, I just layered up some embellishments in the grid pattern! Super easy!

I'm playing along with the Tic Tac toe challenge at The Studio Challenges. I used enamel dots, blue, and mini alphas.

This photo is of my little cousins, who are twins.

I used my Wild Hare Kit featuring Maggie Holmes' Sunny Days collection. I wanted to incorporate some mixed media so I grabbed a stencil and some texture paste. I mixed some Shimmerz into the texture paste and that's how I made my bricks!
