[Paper Wings Productions] She took a leap...

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing a card I made with the Fairies stamp set. This little fairy is adorable and could be colored so many ways! I heat embossed her with gold and then used mostly pink Copics to color her. Then I fussy cut her and adhered her to my card base with foam adhesive.

My card base was made using the packaging technique and misting. I added some flicks of gold and pink shimmer mist too.

My sentiment was from the Brave Girls stamp set. I heat embossed it with the same fine gold detail embossing powder that I used my on fairy girl. Fairies seem like they need gold in their life - am I right?

The color challenge at White With 1 this month is sizzling pink! I love pink :) There is also an optional sketch.

I chose to use the February cut file from Elle's Studio and back it with pink patterned papers.

This page took SO long to do, but I love this look and I used up a ton of my pink paper scraps.

it's snow cold.

I used sketch 147 from Sketch N Scrap as the basis for this page. This sketch is minimalist and I've added a lot more embellishing. I also joined one of the February challenges at Paper Issues, Bigger is Better, and created a large title using a free cut file from Paper Issues.

I added my journaling with my typewriter used the packaging technique to add some pink mist to the corners. Then I made three little clusters with some purple die cuts + some snowflakes I cut from the same cut file.

A few weekends ago we drove to Ohio to spend the weekend with my brother for his birthday. He turned the big 3-0!

I pulled out my Pink Paislee Pick Me Up collection and I used a cut file from Paper Issues. Stuck?! Sketches as two sketches for their February 15 reveal - both of which were fabulous. I chose this one to base my page:

Who remembers Hambly?? Because this transparency at the bottom of my page is from my stash of Hambly. 

I was also inspired by the Scrap the Boys challenge this month - they have a moodboard challenge.

Stick It Down February sketch with Cheeky Studios.

This photo is from last Thanksgiving with my twin cousins were both home for Thanksgiving break. The picture is kind of dark so I wanted to use some of the Welcome Home collection from Carta Bella, because it has a dark, comforting, homey feel. Yet I also wanted to incorporate some of the bright, fun items from Bella Blvd's Illustrated Faith line, Gratitude Documented.

I die cut some leaf shapes with my Cricut and backed them with patterned papers from the Gratitude Documented paper pad.

I chose THIS sketch challenge from Scrap Our Stash. From the sketch on the right side, I chose to leave a huge block of white space and have my patterned paper and photo on the left side of my page.  From the sketch on the left, I followed the horizontal embellishment layering.

Bentley Joseph.

I was inspired today to make a layout about all of the nicknames I call my dog. My boyfriend always comments that Bentley (my dog) probably doesn't even know what his real name is anymore because I usually call him by one of his many, many nicknames.

One of the challenges that gave me motivation today was the current challenge at Use Your Stuff - love is all around. Everyone knows this boy is my favorite and he can do no wrong :) I combined this challenge with The Paper Girls challenge this month to use six of something. I used six patterned papers, backed six of the hearts from the cut out with these patterned papers, and added six grey enamel dots and six heart puffy stickers.

To put this together, I brought out two Crate Paper collections - Heart Day and Hello, Love. I had mixed these two collections together in my stash because they're both beautiful and coordinate perfectly.

I started with the cut file from Paper Issues. As I mentioned, I pulled six patterned paper scraps from these Crate Paper collections, traced the heart cut outs onto my papers, and cut out hearts to back some of the hearts in my cut file. Then I used my old typewriter for my journaling, which I cut into strips. Finally I added some mist splatters in the corners and heart stickers next to the nicknames I use most.

Tonight I had some time to play along with Lasting Memories challenges. One of their February color challenges was pinks/reds, which I love!

I found this Paw Prints on my Heart cut file at Paper Issues and it's free! You know I'm doing ALL of the cut files right now with my new Cameo :)

Tonight I joined More Than Words for their February challenge - forever and hearts. We took this selfie in Isla Mujeres last year on vacation. I love the beach and the ocean. I feel at home and at peace near the water. It just feels magical sometimes to me... how vast and expansive the ocean is. The clear blue water looks so serene, yet you know there's tons of life below the surface. So my take on the 'forever' part of the challenge is how the ocean seems to go on forever.

I found a free cut file at Spiegelmom Scraps and also used one of their sequin mixes, Magical Adventure. Everything else on this page is from Pink Paislee's new Pick Me Up collection.

I filled in some of the circles and hearts with Pick Me Up embellishments - stickers and washi strips - and some patterned papers. The acrylic words from Color Cast Designs coordinated perfectly with my page so I added those in too.

 This is a totally different page than my typical style, but I'm playing with my new Cameo and I really like how this turned out. Thanks for looking!

I'm playing along with sketch #146 at Sketch N Scrap today! The sketch is for a 12x12 but this is for a Christmas gift I'm making my brother and his girlfriend and the album is 8.5x11 size.

This paper is super old, from my stash, and I layered it on a piece of white cardstock. The trees were cut with my Cricut and I added some embellishments from Elle's Studio.

You may have seen my Instagram post earlier this week that I got a Cameo on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I've been working up the courage to use it and finally just decided I have to DO it. I found the cut file at Paper Issues HERE. They have loads of super cute free cut files.

I made a Valentine's card to share today! February is the month of hearts and love!

I used the packaging technique and smooshed some red mist on the background. I used the PWP Heart Day stamp set for this card. I heat embossed my sentiment on a patterned heart paper. I heat embossed the 'love' and fussy cut it out and then adhered it with foam adhesive.
