April Saturday Cartoon Sketch Challenge at Scrap Our Stash.

This was a fun challenge at Scrap Our Stash!

I chose Love A Lot Care Bear and she has two pink hearts on her chest. Pink is my favorite color and it is quite prevalent in this Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

sunshine & summertime.

This page is for the White... With One challenge this month. The color is pink :)

I used a cut file from Paper Issues and I'm entering this in their free for all cut file challenge this month.  Everything is from the CVS collection called More Than Words. I added some Spring Fling sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps.

Thanks for looking!

hello holidays.

Creating this one for this month's sketch challenge at Paper Issues. Are you still scrapping Christmas pages four months later?

Thanks for looking!

supplies
patterned paper: American Crafts (Sweater Weather)
cork frame: Freckled Fawn
epoxy: Scrappin Happy Studio
sequins: Spiegelmom Scraps (Cupid's Key)

good stuff.

The Scrap the Boys challenge this month is Let's Eat Cake. I combined this challenge with the single page sketch challenge at Stick It Down.

I found these photos of my brother's first birthday and thought they would be perfect. I did this page in 8.5x11 sizes because my older layouts are in an 8.5x11 size album. It was a little difficult to fit three photos on the page, especially because these photos were taken in the '80s and the color and quality is not the best.

I did a stash busting page here with lots of Elle's Studio bits and random pieces from my stash. I chose the Boyish Charm sequins for this age because I love the blue.

Spiegelmom Scraps is the sponsor this month at Stick It Down. You have the opportunity to win a $20 shop credit!

All the Feels.

This gorgeous cut file is FREE at Spiegelmom Scraps. The amazing Virginia made this for us! I knew it would be great for a wedding page using the Midnight collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

I added some of the Confetti Burst sequins to this page. I love the pearl hearts.

hello spring.

When I saw this week's challenge at Lasting Memories, I was pumped! I love working in my yard.

Imagine my surprise when I was able to combine this challenge with Paper Issues Take 5 April challenge. I used green, yellow, chipboard (when else could I throw a bird on a page?!), the word hello, and a paperclip.

This came together so quickly with all the Elle's Studio bits. I love when that happens!

supplies
cardstock: Bazzill (Daisy)
project life cards: Elle's Studio (April and May 2018 kits)
chipboard: (Maggie Holmes (Shine)
alphabet stickers: Thickers (Happy Life)

Growing in Unity Blog Hop!

Hey Unity friends! Thanks for hopping over to see my page today. I made a Valentine's page with the December 2018 Kit of the Month.

I have quite a bit of the Midnight collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio left and their newest release is on its way to me now, so I used my Midnight stash for this page. It's lovely!

I used Distress Oxide ink in Worn Lipstick and repeated the 'be mine' stamp behind my cut file. I chose the pink ink because I didn't want it to stand out too much from my background. I thought another color would detract from my photo. I also added the sentiment 'flowers bloom in my heart for you' right below my photo. I thought that sentiment was perfect for this page.

Thanks for looking!

For the blog hop order:

best moment of the year.

I found this cut file in my files and knew it would perfect for a wedding layout. And since I just got my new Happiness collection this week... perfect combo.

Everything is from the newest Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection, with the exception of the Scrappin' Happy Studio flair. I love the bright colors with this black and white photo.

and then my heart burst.

Playing along with the March Secret Life of Pets challenge at Paper Issues this month.

When I saw this FREE cut file in the Paper Issues store, I immediately bought it. I love it. It pairs perfectly with the Midnight collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I have the new CVS collection on its way to me, so I had to get to creating with this collection! :)

Scrap Our Stash March Pick Your Side Challenge.

I chose the right side of the layout, but I wanted slightly larger photos so that you could see the details of the plants. Last summer on our mini-moon, we went to Chicago and stopped by the Lincoln Park Conservatory. We sort of rushed through, but they were featuring orchids, ferns, and tropical plants. It was just beautiful. So I chose my favorite photos and printed them in wallet size. The photos came off the printer in this grid pattern, so I just left them together for my page. I did use pop dots to adhere them, since it is a busy background, to help them stand out.

love you.

Hey SMS friends! I'm sharing a page today using the I Love You More sequins. These are SO cute.

This page was inspired by the Scraplift Sunday challenge at Paper Issues. We're scraplifting Cassie's awesome page.  Here's her page:

It was harder than I thought to get these little hearts to turn out in the shape of a big heart. I used a cut file and brushed the edges of each heart with grey ink to help them stand apart from each other. Then I used a cut file for my title and made it into a shaker :)

March Scrap Our Stash Saturday Cartoons Challenge!

Yay for the March challenge! I started with some St Patrick's day photos, but totally changed my mind. I wanted to use one of the new cut files at Paper Issues.
Here's my page and I used Keep Palm Shimmerz as my green embellishment.

I love the Cocoa Vanilla Midnight collection and I've been using it for tons of wedding layouts. This page will go in our wedding album that just features our professional photos. No journaling or any photos that we took ourselves.

The two sequin mixes I used were new February releases at Spiegelmom Scraps. Lush Greenery and Unicorn Dust are both still available in the SMS store and you can save 15% with code ASHLEY15.

our big day.

Hi friends! Sharing an 8.5x11 page for my brother and his fiancee's album I put together for a Christmas gift for them.

This is one of their engagement photos and I liked these Falling For You sequins with the 'love' wood veneer piece. This cut file is from Paige Evans and I thought it would be nice for framing this photo so her ring.

I used some vellum from my stash to make little shaker filled frames.
