starting daycare.

This page was just for fun and using some stash items. Some Bella Blvd paper + tag scraps, an Elle's Studio journal card and some epoxy flair. I added some sequins for a little bit of interest.

Thanks for looking!

Life is full of adventure!

Today I have a layout using one of the sketch challenges at Lasting Memories this month. I switched the circles in the sketch out for hearts, but used the three photos and kept the placement pretty close.

Lee Brice [Challenge YOUrself 98].

Hello again friends! This year, I hope to have more time to scrapbook. For the first time in quite a while, I only have one nursing job! With that said, our challenge this month at Challenge YOUrself is a color palette! I love these pretty colors.

I printed off a couple photos from this past October when we saw Lee Brice. We got to meet him after the show and take a photo with him. It was pretty cool!

This page was made mostly with items from the January add ons from Elle's Studio. The colors were perfect for this challenge. Thanks for looking!

warm & cozy.

Hello again! I'm playing along with the February Stick it Down challenge! I love this sketch so much - Laura is SO talented.

I used the Autumn Splendor collection from Pink Fresh. Can you believe I have had this collection and never used any of it yet?! I did add a second little embellishment cluster that is not in the sketch. My cut file is from Paper Issues. Thanks for looking!

inks: Dina Wakley Medial gloss spray (aloe); Shimmerz Spritz (chance of rain)

Game DEY.

What an appropriate day to make and share this page! WHO DEY baby!! Bengals are heading to the superbowl!!

This page was inspired by the January single page sketch at Stick It Down. I used the stars and the circular pattern, along with the two photos. I made my title a little larger and added a small embellishment cluster to the bottom right.

Thanks so much for looking and let's go Bengals!!

story [Challenge YOUrelf #97].

It's time for another Challenge YOUrself monthly challenge - this month we are focusing on working together. I kept this page very simple - the focus is on the photo and the meaning of my new tattoo. The story behind it.

The pink/blue ribbon is for pregnancy and infancy loss and it has taken a whole lot of work with a whole lot of people to get to the point where I was ready for this and for the attention it would bring. Naturally when people see my tattoo, they ask what the ribbon stands for.

Coincidentally (or maybe not?) the date I got this tattoo, was two years to the exact date of my D & C.

Sundays are for football [Challenge YOUrself].

It's time for another challenge at Challenge YOUrself! This month we are featuring stamps! This was such a fun challenge because I have so many stamps and I used to love stamping on my pages.

This is only the front side of my page. I don't do pocket style pages super often, but sometimes I find them easier to use if I have a lot of details to tell. This was such a fun day, the weather was perfect, and we had such a great time. Even though the Bengals lost. I love being at PBS and the atmosphere there, surrounded by other Bengals fans.
Thanks for looking!

animals & pumpkins.

So much Bella Blvd on this page! I pulled out an older patterned paper from the Hello Autumn collection for my background. The pumpkin patterned paper [Monsters & Friends], the pig [Bella Pops] and the Florence alphabet are all newer.

This was made for the 'hot mess express' October mood board challenge at Paper Issues. I embellished with a lot of Elle's Studio bits and pieces. Thanks for looking!

forever [Challenge YOUrself #94].

Time for another challenge at Challenge YOUrself! This month it's black and white - with one color. I chose gold for my color! These photos are from my BFF's wedding in July.

I used some Nuvo + Vicki Boutin stencil on my background and the embellishments are from a Simple Stories wedding collection. Thanks for looking!

water fun.

Making a pool page for my nephew's album. His first birthday is coming up this week! I had some fun on this one, using some distress ink + packaging technique, some sequins, and a Vicki Boutin stencil + texture paste.

My inspiration was the 2010s challenge at Paper Issues this month. Loving the bright, fun colors. Thanks for looking!

life currently looks like this.

I played along with the '70s challenge at Paper Issues this month. I liked the muted colors and the florals.

The patterned paper is Marigold by Crate Paper, the florals are Jen Hadfield and then I added some chipboard and puffy stickers from Elle's Studio. Thanks for looking!

live it up [Challenge YOUrself]

This month at Challenge YOUrself, we're documenting our friends. I grabbed a photo from a cupcake tasting day I went to with my soon-to-be bride friend. I mixed a couple of different designers on my page and I used to do this a lot when I first got into scrapbooking. It was really fun and I want to do it more!

 Thanks for looking!
