love.

I have been working 50+ hours a week since January which has left almost zero time for scrapbooking. I saw the Stuck?! April 1 sketch and wanted to get some scrapping done tonight.

These photos are from last June, at my grandfather's funeral. It wasn't an unexpected death, but it is still sad. I wanted to use black with pinks and reds to represent mourning and love. Here's what I came up with:
Thanks for looking!

supplies
patterned paper, stickers, washi strips, date stamp: Studio Calico
patterned paper: Doodlebug Design (Sweet Cakes);
stamp: Elle's Studio; Technique Tuesday (It's OK);
ink: VersaFine (onyx black); StazOn (jet black);
die: Kelly Purkey/Simon Says Stamp! (feathers);
journal tag stickers: Chickaniddy Crafts
