Hey guys! I'm still doing Christmas pages over here :)
This was page inspired by the 'Put it on an Angle" challenge at Paper Issues this month. I kept my layers and embellishments on a 90 degree angle. This photo is from this past Christmas and it's my mom, my brother, and me.
I have all my Christmas goodies in a huge zip lock baggie so this is a variety of stuff. I added some of the January sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps called Funky New Year and some flair from Scrappin Happy Studio. Thanks for looking!

grateful.
A wedding page!
I haven't played with my Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight collection in weeks and I was going through withdrawal. I found a wedding photo I haven't scrapped yet and used this cut file from Elle's Studio. I filled it with one of the January sequin releases from Spiegelmom Scraps, I Love You More. This sequin mix is SO so cute with all those little hearts.
This page was inspired by the January Let's Get Sketchy sketch.
Thanks for looking!

family.
I have a Christmas layout today, using the Pinspire Me January challenge at Paper Issues. I really liked the text print and the pops of red - without it being an Christmas theme.
Here's my page:
So I used that text inspiration piece as the main patterned paper on my page and then accented with various red embellishments.
The cut file I used for my title is free at Paper Issues and I used some of the gorgeous January sequin releases from Spiegelmom Scraps to make it a shaker.
I also added some of those gold sequins to my tree - I thought they looked like ornaments! Thanks for looking!

sequins: Spiegelmom Scraps (Hex a Glam; Funky New Year)
patterned paper: Elle's Studio (Merry & Bright); Fancy Pants (Cottage Christmas)

Even in the coldest weather... [Sum More Fun stamps guest design]
Hi friends! I'm guest designing this month at Sum More Fun stamps! They sent me the Winter Heart and Sole photopolymer stamp set to play with.
To make my card base, I started with watercolor paper and used a distress oxide ink to paint my background. I used my embossing heat gun to dry it (because I'm impatient) and then flicked some water on it to create that oxidized look.
Next, I used a puffy white embossing powder to heat emboss my tree. I really love this tree stamp and I wanted it to look like snow covered. The sentiment was added with a fine detail gold embossing powder. For my finishing touch, I added some white twine from my stash.
Thanks for looking! I have a coupon code to share with you! Use code ONEFORYOU for 10% off your order!

stamp: Raisin Boat (Winter Heart and Sole)
ink: Tim Holtz distress oxide (Seedless Preserves)
embossing powder: Wow! (white puff); Simon Says Stamp! (ultra fine gold)

moment.
Sometimes when I'm not really feeling inspired, I go back to older layouts I've done and I re-do them. I don't do it very often because it's counterproductive, but it helps sometimes to get my mojo flowing.
So this page I originally did back in 2002 and I felt like it needed a revamp. This was inspired by the this or that challenge this month at Paper Issues. Here's what I used: blue, one photo, large title, layers, stickers, fussy cutting (the little trees), staples, enamel dots, and then I combined glitter and paint (because I don't really have either one) and used gold mist.
Thanks for looking!
supplies
patterned paper: Elle's Studio; Pink Fresh Studio (December Days)
enamel dots: Richard Garay Amazing Dots
stickers: Elle's Studio
mist: Heidi Swapp Color Shine (Gold)

January Scrap Our Stash Saturday Cartoons Challenge.
Hey everyone! I'm excited to be staying on another term at Scrap Our Stash. This year our first monthly challenge is a fun one! I chose the bold, fun color scheme from the cartoons and altered the sketch a little bit because my page is 8.5x11. So I used one photo + one journal card, both trimmed down. Here's my page:
I added Spiegelmom Scraps rustic stars to complete the challenge. Thanks for looking!

live the life you love.
Hi friends! Today I'm super excited to share my first design team project for Spiegelmom Scraps!
I was looking for a fun cut file that I could use my Pick Your Plum sequins and make a shaker. I found this mermaid (or I guess it could be a whale?) and thought it was perfect!
This photo is of my brother and his fiancee in Florida right before Christmas. This page was in their 8.5x11 album I gave them for Christmas.
I love this Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection so much + even better is that this sequin mix is MADE for this collection!
Thanks for looking!

naughty or nice?
Happy Christmas day! This is a fun page today I made in between binge watching Netflix. Love having the holiday off work!
This is me & my puppy last night on Christmas Eve. I found this cut file at Spiegelmom Scraps and it's free! I filled it up with some Country Christmas + Holly Berries sequins.

flannel forever.
Merry Christmas!
This morning I made a layout using this 'flannel forever' cut file I found at Paper Issues. I cut it from some buffalo plaid 6x6 paper and added a whole bunch of fun Christmas embellishments to my page. I was inspired by the Remember December challenge at Paper Issues this month!

December Scrap Our Stash Blend a Sketch challenge.
I truly did a stash busting layout here. I have only three papers from this collection, but they're beautiful and I've been hoarding them. I also pulled random stickers of all sorts from my stash and stuck them on this page.
I combined the two sketches by using the bigger photos and layers from the left sketch + the lower photo cluster from the right sketch. I kept my title placement and journaling similar to the left sketch. I noticed the sketch on the left has a tag so I used tags as one of my three elements. I found THIS free cut file at Paper Issues to make my tags. I also used three black heart stickers and three butterflies on pop dots.
At our wedding we did the anniversary dance; it's one of my favorite parts of any wedding I've ever attending. It goes something like this: The DJ calls all the married couples onto the dance floor and after a few minutes, the DJ has anyone married less than 5 hours sit down (that's us!). Then after a few more minutes he says anyone married less than one year, sit down. Then after a few more minutes he says anyone married less than five years, sit down. So he goes every few minutes having couples married less than X years sit down. At the end you're left with a couple who have been married 62 years (my husband's paternal grandparents). It's SO cool and I'm so glad we got to honor ALL of the married couples at our wedding.
Thanks so much for looking!

let joy be your compass.
One more page finished for the weekend. I think this one makes ten pages in four days, which is pretty dang awesome for me! This will be the title page in the 8.5x11 album I'm making for my brother and his girlfriend for Christmas this year.
I'm using all of the Midnight collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio + the coordinating Pick Your Plum sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. Confession: I've gone through two packs of them this weekend!
My page is based off the 'star' challenge at Paper Issues this month and obviously I chose to make a star shaker with one of the FREE cut files from Paper Issues. Thanks for looking!
believe.
Another page for the 8.5 x 11 album I'm making my brother and his fiancee for Christmas. I'm running out of time!
This was inspired by the Take 5 Challenge at Paper Issues this month. I used: gold, chipboard, stickers, cut file, patterned paper, and label. Making Christmas layout is so fun and easy - the colors and collections all look good together!
My cut file is from Paper Issues and of course I made it into a little shaker with some Holly Berries sequins. These are currently out of stock, but you can check the box to get notified when they're back in stock.

under the tree.
I feel like I've been MIA for a while! I've gotten a lot done scrappy-wise today, but it's for a ton of projects I can't share until January :)
So tonight I worked on this scraplift challenge Paper Issues has this month. I love the idea of piling all these layers of embellishments along one side of your page. It's such a great idea to use up some older stash or some smaller pieces and still make an impact.
This is my cousin's son taking a nap under their tree :) Thanks for looking!

December Golden Globe challenge at Scrap Our Stash!
Hi guys! Today I'm sharing my page for the Golden Globe challenge at Scrap Our Stash, which is to create a winter layout using snowflakes.
I decided to use a cut file to cut snowflakes from my background and then make a giant shaker.
I used foam tape and some packaging I had laying around to make my shaker. The sequin mixed I used was Sunny Winter from Spiegelmom Scraps.
Thanks for looking!

Santa! I know him!
I can't wait until this Christmas to start playing with my holiday goodies so I'm finding some photos from last Christmas that I haven't scrapped yet. I love this Document December kit from Elle's studio.
Not affiliated / Just love it & want to enable :)
I found the background patterned paper in my stash. I have no idea who even makes it, but it has little tiny trees on it and it's so adorable. I thought it would be a good neutral for my Santa cut file, which is NEW at Paper Issues. All their cut files are FREE!
Everything else is from the above mentioned kit. Of course I turned Santa's hat into a shaker with some sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. #Can'tStopWon'tStop
