love you [Stick it Down].

I am 2/2 so far on completing challenges for Stick It Down! Loved the February single page sketch that Laura made.

I have a process video for this page HERE. It came together really quickly. I used the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight collection. I don't have many 12x12 papers left from this collection.

This cut file is free at Paper Issues. I thought it was perfect for this sketch. I was also inspired by their February 'sweet talk' challenge to scrap about love. This photos was taken at my brother's wedding last September and I love it. Thanks for looking!

I love puppies [Pretty My Page].

Hey friends! I'm super exciting to be guest designing with Pretty My Page! I love their cut files and today I'm using the diagonal heart mesh cut file.

I used some 6x6 papers from the watercolor pad by Craft Consortium to cut this diagonal cut file to fit my 8.5x11 size page. Here's how I fit the 6x6 papers on my Silhouette mat to cut my heart cut file:

Using some Magical Unicorns sequins, I made a few of the hearts into sequin shaker pockets. I did not do a process video for this page because I'm still coughing a lot, but I talk about my process for making sequin shaker pockets in THIS video.

These cute puppies are my brother's new Wire Fox terrier puppies, Chloe and Wrigley.

Thanks so much for looking and thanks for PMP for allowing me to work with this gorgeous cut file!

young love.

This page is a re-do. Do you ever do those? I don't very often, but I was flipping through an older album the other day and thought I could do better with this page. It's a polaroid photo from 7th grade. I got inspiration from the February White... With 1 challenge using azure blue.
I thought the January release from Elle's Studio with the pretty blue was perfectly fitting for this challenge.
There's a process video for this page HERE. Thanks for watching!

supplies
ink: Tim Holtz distress ink (Broken China)
cut file: Paper Issues
die cuts, stickers: Elle's Studio  (You are Loved)

highlight of today.

One of the reasons I prefer all inclusive resorts is that it's basically an open bar! Drinks and food are included. You don't even have to think.

This page was inspired by sketch 194 at Sketch N Scrap.  Instead of three larger photos like the sketch, I used four smaller ones. I used really small photos; they were Snapchat photos so they were shaped oddly anyway. I arranged them in a loose grid design. I kept the paper placement of the sketch similar, except I used 3x4 journal cards instead of strips of paper.

I used a free cut file from Paper Issues to cut some drinks for embellishments. I backed them with the beautiful watercolor paper from the Craft Consortium 6x6 paper pad. I tucked a couple of die cuts and added some sequins to finish my page.

Initially I didn't think I could pull off a monochromatic page... it's one of the February challenges at Paper Issues. I really surprised myself with this one!

There's a process video for this one too :)

Thanks for looking!

sequins: Spiegelmom Scraps (Gold Summer Sunset)

happy.

I loved this sketch from Laura for Sketches in Thyme.
I used lots of Elle's Studio stash goodies on this one. The photos is mid-1960s of my dad and my aunt.

Thanks for looking!

you can find love [Challenge YOUrself #74].

Hi friends! I'm sharing my layout for Challenge YOUrself today!

I chose to do a wedding layout with the Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. This cut file is by Paige Evans. Fun fact: This Mariah Carey song used to be my favorite song.

Here are a couple of close up photos.

I used my vintage typewrite for the lyrics.
I used foam adhesive to give my butterflies some lift.
Thanks for looking!

love.

I just love this photo of my Bentley and I bought this plaid paper from Echo Park specifically to scrap this photo. I found this free cut file at Paper Issues and my page came together quickly.

This is for the 'eye candy' challenge at Paper Issues. I used flair, glitter enamel dots, silver and white ink splatters, and a gold title. Plus, Bentley is eye candy too ;)

There's a process video for this one as well. Thanks for looking!

vacation happiness.

Hey friends!
I have a process video up for this page. I forever love this paper collection and it was fun to scrap one of my recent vacation photos. We went to Mexico in December and I love this cut file from The Cut Shoppe.

I made this page for the Paper Issues Go Go Gadget Girl challenge. I used my Silhouette & my WeR Memory Keepers QuickStik to adhere my sequins.

Thanks for looking!

patterned paper, die cuts: Cocoa Vanilla Studio (Happiness)
flair: Scrappin Happy Studio
sequins: Spiegelmom Scraps (Happy Vibes)
mist: Shimmerz Coloringz (Freshly Squeezed; Dark Stilletto)

winter fun.

Sharing a layout (and there's a process video!) made with sketch 192 from Sketch N Scrap! This was a fun page to do and I followed the sketch closely, just making the exception of using only three photos (instead of four). Thanks for looking!

L O V E

Playing along with the January Bingo challenge at Scrap Our Stash today! This my newly married brother and sister in law the morning they left for their honeymoon! I love their shirts :)

I used my new Elle's Studio goodies again. Love all this stuff! I found a cut file at Paper Issues to make into a shaker for my title. I used up some Tweaky Teal, Easy Breezy Beautiful, and Ride the Tide Spiegelmom Scraps sequins. (None of these sequin mixes are available any longer!)

The colors of my page look weird on screen and I'm not sure why. For my Bingo, I used four patterned papers, sequins, banners, washi, and then I don't have layered stickers so I tried to make my own with my hearts. Thanks for looking!

other supplies
cardstock: Bazzill (Tropical)
washi: Doodlebug

XO.

My precious boy! I got my January Elle's Studio order yesterday and could not wait to play with this new collection. It's so pretty!

I'm playing along with sketch 404 at Sketches in Thyme and the split personality January challenge at Paper Issues. I "split" two patterned papers. I also "split" the two photos from the sketch - one photo and one tag. I sized this sketch down to 8.5x11 size as well. Thanks for looking!

sparkle & shine.

I'm playing along with Stacy's January challenge using cardstock, enamel dots, and stickers. I found this cut file (free!) at Paper Issues and made some shaker sequin pockets. I used Oh Christmas Tree (vintage sequin mixes no longer available) and Country Christmas.
Behind some of my ornaments I used Heidi Swapp gold Color Shine and some Shimmerz. Then I added a bunch of Elle's Studio holiday stickers, acrylic pieces, wood veneers, and labels. I don't have many enamel dots (literally four almost empty packs!) so I used some really old Prima Sugar Dots.

Thanks for looking!

supplies
Shimmerz Keep Palm Coloringz; Shimmerz Precious Metal Paint
enamel dots: Prima

grace [Challenge YOUrself #73].

Hi friends!
Today I'm sharing my first DT layout for Challenge YOUrself. I don't normally participate in one little word, but I started seeing a therapist late last year after my miscarriage and one of the things she said that really stuck with me was to allow myself grace.

Thanks so much for looking!

moments.

Playing along with Stick It Down this week! I run the SID blog and do all the administrative things... but I rarely make time to play along with the challenges. So this year, I want to play along more! I loved the single page sketch this month! I used one larger photo instead of the two smaller ones, but maintained the rest of the sketch pretty closely.

I'm using some of my Midnight collection from CVS. I think it pairs well with our bridesmaids dresses in this photo.

 Thanks for looking!

exploring.

So happy to be sharing a stash layout today! I used up some of my Paige Evan's Horizon papers (didn't get any of the embellishments) + tons of Elle's Studio stickers.

My page is based on THIS sketch.
