sunshiny days.

Hello again! I am getting a lot done this month! Playing along again with Paper Issues - this one was a challenge to use one photo on your layout.

Love this cut file from Confessions of a Paper Addict. I've actually used it once before too. Loving this new sunkissed collection from CVS and I added some Holiday Magic sequins from SMS. Thanks for looking!

so happy.

Hi again! I've been on a roll lately. This one is for the 'treble maker' challenge at Paper Issues this month. The challenge is to use bright colors.

This was a fun page - never thought I would use this rainbow paper. I have to add journaling, but this is documenting finding my bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding coming up in July.

happy days.

Hello! This is for another March challenge at Paper Issues. This one was 'all about that bass' - creating a project using only the bottom half of your page. I used my brand new Sunkissed collection from CVS. It just arrived from My Little Scrapbook Store.

I added my journaling after I took the photo. Thanks for stopping by!

coneflowers.

Hello friends! Today is a page for Scraplift Sunday at Paper Issues. HERE is the link to the original. I was playing with my dSLR last summer and got some photos of my butterfly garden. I love coneflowers so, so much.

Used bits of several collections here - CVS Daydream; Heidi Swapp Artwalk; Elle's Studio; Spiegelmom Scraps (gold summer sunset). Thanks for looking!

I am me [Challenge YOUrself 87].

Hello! Today we're sharing our next challenge at Challenge YOUrself - where we want to see YOU in the photos.

This was a fun page to make, based on lyrics to a song I'm loving right now. I used the Florence alphabet stickers from Bella Blvd, some mixed media, and some Good Vibes ephemera from Crate Paper from my stash.

Thanks for looking!

Last week we were in Mexico and I miss it already! Here's a page for one of the March challenges at Paper Issues - in perfect harmony - using two coordinating colors.

Lots of goodies on this one. Thanks for looking!

filled with wonder.

This page was done for the 'heart attack' challenge at Paper Issues this month. I chose a Vicki Boutin watercolor background and accented with tons of Elle's Studio goodies.

This is my nephew's first Valentine's day:) Thanks for looking!

my cat is cuter than yours.

This page is a mix of an older collection from Bella Blvd (Riley) + the newer cat collection from Bella Blvd (Chloe). They actually are similar collections and mix and match together!

These are my two feral kittens I adopted last July. They are semi-feral now. They come to me and they can be petted. This is a huge accomplishment! They're barn cats so they'll never be indoor kitties, but nevertheless they are cuties!

I mixed some Shimmerz [Freshly Squeezed] with some texture paste [opaque matte] to use with my mini chickenwire stencil from The Crafter's Workshop. Thanks for looking!

here & now.

We had Covid at the beginning of November and it was crunch time to get our Christmas card photos taken so we had to get creative. My mom came over and took them for us in our yard.

This page was done for one of the February challenges at Paper Issues - 'send her flowers.' I used a bunch of florals from the Jen Hadfield The Avenue ephemera pack. Thanks for looking!

celebrate happy times [Challenge YOUrself #86].

Hi friends! Today we're sharing our February challenge at Challenge YOUrself! What better way to 'celebrate love' than to document our second wedding anniversary?! We went out for lunch and then bought a new sofa.

I used a bunch of my Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness collection. I don't really have much left and I'd like to finish it all up! I did use some gesso on my background before applying my distress inks. Thanks for looking!

supplies

inks: picked raspberry; festive berries; dried marigold; mustard seed; shabby shutters; evergreen bough; forest moss; chipped sapphire

happy together.

Hello again! Today I'm sharing a page made for the remix challenge at Scrap Our Stash this month.

love this time of year [Challenge YOUrself #85].

I'm back! It's been a while, but I am still on the team at Challenge YOUrself!

My husband and I both came down with Covid at the beginning of November. Neither of us were terrible ill at the time, but it sure delayed several appointments and miscellaneous things we had to do. Right after that came the busy holiday season I didn't have time or energy to scrap the rest of the year!

Our first challenge of 2021 is to scrap your favorite memory from 2020. I know 2020 was hard on many of you. One of my favorite moments was when a strange bought our meal one evening in December. This has never happened to me before and I was so surprised! I love how the holidays bring out generosity in people. We paid it forward, of course!

So we'd love to see the highlights of your 2020! Please head over to the Scrap YOUrself blog for rules and to upload your pages. Can't wait to 'see' you more in 2021!

holly + jolly.

This page was made for the 'cards against humanity' challenge at Paper Issues. We are challenged to use 3x4 journal cards on a page. I used two on this page to scrap my brother's Christmas card this year.

I did add some gesso to the background and use a little bit of mixed media. I just kind of wanted my whole cluster to stand out a bit more from the background. Everything is from Elle's Studio - this all just coordinated with my American Crafts background paper so well!
