family.

One last page from me today! This one inspired by the Scrap Our Stash June tic tac toe challenge. I used red, a camera, and wood. Here's my page:

patterned paper, die cuts: Crate Paper
die cuts, stamps: Elle's Studio
journal card: Simple Stories
chipboard camera, wood hearts: Studio Calico
ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black)

Pacers.

I have a second page to share today. This one was inspired by the Use Your Stuff challenge #266 to use at least five patterned papers on your page.

I dug into my stash and pulled out some Pink Paislee, Studio Calico, Bella Blvd, and Crate Paper. I keep a lot of my scraps, but I don't often dig through them and pull them out to use on pages, so this was a great challenge!

Thanks for looking!

beach days.

Today I'm sharing a page using the Crate Paper Oasis line. I was inspired by the Challenge YOUrself art inspiration this month. I liked the little river and the bright blue sky. It reminded me of being in Isla Mujeres in February.

I was also inspired by sketch 279 at Sketches in Thyme... but I got a little carried away with the embellishing. Here's my page:

Thanks for looking!

Easter.

I combined the Let's Get Sketchy June 1 sketch + Colorful Creations something old/something new challenge to make this Easter page.

I used the newest Elle's Studio collection, Live Laugh Love + some old Elle's Studio stamps (from 2016) + the December Elle's Studio monthly kit. Since Elle's Studio sticks to the same colors throughout all of their products, mixing and matching works really well.

lovely.

This year my peonies bloomed and were gone in a matter of days. A couple of years ago, they were just now blooming at this time. I miss them already.

I used the June 1 Stuck?! Sketch for this page.

I used the My Mind's Eye Palm Beach collection for this page, which is a tropical vacation themed kit, but I was able to use the simple striped paper and some coordinating embellishments to document my peonies.

JAX.

When we were on vacation in February,we stayed at an all inclusive resort on Isla Mujeres. The food was blah and we were getting so sick of it. We ended up wandering into town one day, in search of real food. American food, if we could find it. Right on the corner was this restaurant, Jax, and we ended up eating there twice in our five day stay. Hamburgers, French fries, and loaded nachos. It was all so good!

I played along with CSI #231 for this page. The colors were blue, turquoise, yellow, white and red. The evidence was hearts, stars, puffy stickers, and stripes. The testimony was using the inspiration words in my journaling (super, awesome).

Pike Place.

My brother and his girlfriend are currently on an Alaskan cruise. They left from Seattle and did some exploring in Seattle before the cruise. This photo is from them at Pike Place Market one day.

I used Sketch N Scrap #130 and Paper Issues product spotlight this month, which is Echo Park. This is the Summer Dreams collection that I love!

I added some bits of Elle's Studio from my stash but otherwise stuck with the Summer Dreams collection. Thanks for looking!

Pentagon.

Last year on our way home from Texas, our flight had a stop at Ronald Reagan Washington National airport to pick up passengers. It was a brief stop, we didn't change plans or even get off, but after we took off we had amazing views of DC and I snapped this photo of the Pentagon.

I used the Scrap Our Stash iNSD challenge #7 which is a sketch from Sketch N Scrap + use stars. I really wanted to use some of my new collections, but I forced myself to dig some travel themed stash items out and use them up.

I still have to add journaling.

new car.

I worked all weekend but I have today off to participate in some iNSD challenges. This one is for Scrap Our Stash challenge #4, which was a sketch challenge from the Mad about Sketch at Cookin' Up Creations + use a camera from your stash.

I know we all got these wood camera embellishment packs from Studio Calico and I was able to use a couple on this page. I actually added quite a bit from my stash + used the new Summer Fun collection from Echo Park.

My little cousin (who graduates this year) bought her own car which is pretty fantastic!

Thanks so much for looking!

favorite.

I'm playing along with the May 1 sketch at Let's Get Sketchy. I liked this sketch but I had two small photos so I had to size down to 8.5x11. I used a great mix of old and new product which was really fun.

Thanks for looking!

senior prom.

My baby cousins recently had their senior prom! They're twins and they're graduating high school soon and this doesn't even seem possible to me!

I used THIS Sketch N Scrap sketch for their birthday bash crop. My new Echo Park Wedding Bliss collection kit came into play here. Remember in my haul video I thought this was a versatile collection, even though it seems very themed? Well, here's proof.

Sun Fun.

I got to play with some of my new Echo Park Summer Dreams today. I used this month's sketch + mood board inspiration at Let's Get Sketchy. I felt like the colors in the mood board were  representative of the Summer Dreams collection and the photos of the pineapple and drinks reminded me of lying on the beach for a week. Ahhhh I wanna go back!

special day.

Last weekend, my brother and his girlfriend came home and we celebrated my mom's birthday early. We went to a new local brewery which was awesome and then out to eat at one of my favorite places (and my mom loves it too). My mom got a piece of cheesecake to celebrate her birthday; our waiter was pretty cool.

I used the April 1 Stuck?! Sketches as inspiration for my page.

The patterned paper I used for the background is a really old Pink Paislee paper. I have two sheets of this paper I've been hoarding. Everything else is Elle's Studio - mostly the Live Love Laugh collection.

always this.

Hey there! I have a layout to share today combining challenges from Paper Issues and A Cherry on Top. PI's Pawsitively Pet challenge this month is to use three manufacturers and ACOT has a sketch:

I took this photo of my pups on National Pet Day - April 11. I used Elle's Studio, Studio Calico, and American Crafts.
