I hold on.
I heard this song by Dierks Bentley on the radio today and it's one of my favorites by him. Hearing it reminded me (again) how I've always thought it was a great song to inspire a scrapbook page. I had one of our engagement photos in mind for this page.
Tonight I mixed my song inspiration with this Scrap Our Stash challenge. They have a sketch and you also have to use the word GOALS and use one thing starting with each letter on your page. I used:
To bring it all together, I used the Paper Issues product spotlight challenge on Crate Paper's Heart Day collection. Everything on my page is from Heart Day + the stamps (Elle's Studio) and the alphabet stickers (American Crafts). I didn't buy the whole Heart Day collection, just my favorite pieces, but I've had a hard time using it because it's SO dang cute.
Thanks for looking!

Bay Beach.
When we were in Green Bay this summer, we visited the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. It wasn't quite what I expected, but it's a great place!
My page was made using the January week 2 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy + Lasting Memories tic tac toe challenge. I used hearts, polka dot paper, and enamel dots.
supplies
patterned papers, die cuts, heart enamel shapes: Bella Blvd (Let's Go)
stamps: Studio Calico; Elle's Studio; Kelly PUrkey (Out in the Sunshine)
enamel dots: My Mind's Eye

loved by you.
Scrap It With a Song has one of my favorite Christian songs as their January pop song. I was inspired by the lyric "I am loved by you." Of course I used one of our engagement photos :) The layout is based on the January sketch from My Creative Sketches.

This past summer, one of my girl friends gave birth to her second daughter. I thought the new baby would be great for the Just Us Girls challenge - "new." I also used the Sketches in Thyme sketch #257.

hello 32.
So I turned 32 last year. It's a little shocking to say that I'm 32 because I don't feel that old. I'm not where I thought I would be at this age but I'm happy where I am. Turning 25 was a complete breakdown and quarter life crisis for me. Turning 32, I feel pretty good.
I used the Scrappy Friends January sketch challenge + inspiration board challenge. I liked the pinks and pale seafoam green with a splash of gold. I dug into my stash for this one - old cork stickers from Studio Calico, Bo Bunny patterned paper, and chipboard numbers from Making Memories.
Thanks for stopping by!
supplies
vellum: Alison Kreft
patterned paper: Studio Calico (pink); Bo Bunny (Love Shack Baby)
stickers: Studio Calico
die cuts: Jillibean Soup (Healthy Hello Soup)

tree top trekking.
I promise everything on this page is straight in real life.
When my friend and I went to Canada over Memorial day weekend, one of the adventures we went on was Treetop Trekking. It was easily the most terrifying thing I've ever done in my life and over and over I kept telling her I couldn't continue, I wanted to quit, there's no way I could make it, yet somehow I did. I just kept going through every terrifying obstacle until we were done.
The pictures don't even do the obstacle course justice - and we were on one of the easier courses. You literally balanced on a tight rope and hopped on swinging logs and zip lined and crossed net bridges for two hours.
I used the Sketch N Scrap sketch #120 for this page. Instead of two bigger photos, I stacked my smaller photos.

say hello to summer.
Labor day weekend last year we rented a pontoon at our local reservoir and spent the day on the water. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.
I used inspiration from City Crafter's challenge to use the world 'hello' in your project + Paper Issues stash busters challenge. I got the My Mind's Eye By the Sea collection last summer, along with Fancy Pants Making Waves and Echo Park Summer Party and I've hardly used any of it. I love it all and want to use it all up on my pages but at the same time I want to save it all. I was able to use a good bit of the MME on this page and I'm going to try to continue with this stash busters challenge and use some more of my summer collections :)

hello Hunks.
My friend and I went to a Hunks show, I think in 2015. We were mild mannered but there were so many wild ladies there. It was hilarious. I'd been to a Chippendales show quite a few years back but my friend had never been to anything like this. We were cracking up the entire time.
I used the January 1 Let's Get Sketchy sketch + Paper Issues January Take 5 challenge. I used pink, grey, black, silver, patterned paper, washi tape, chipboard, and a tag/label sticker. Everything is from the Simple Stories Love and Adore collection except the washi tape (Doodlebug) and the silver heart stickers (Studio Calico).

Stitch Fix #16.
I kind of can't believe I've done this 16 times! So for the winter, I set up monthly automatic Fixes and I forgot this one was coming so I didn't write a note to my stylist. Luckily for me, Britt has been with me since (almost) day one and she knows me very well.
Papermoon Burkett lace detail knot top - medium - black $48
I don't think one can ever have too many black tops. Especially with pretty lace details like this.
Tea N Rose Jonn striped cardigan - size medium - white $48
This is the softest thing I've ever touched. I want to wear it every day.
Lila Ryan Liza colored skinny jeans - size 8 - dark pink $98
I think $98 is pretty pricey for pants but it seems every pair I get from SF is $98. I loved the color of these first and foremost and they fit perfectly. They are soft and stretchy and I love them.Papermoon Burkett lace detail knot top - medium - black $48

RD Style Rockdale colorblock pullover sweater - size medium - tan $68
I don't like this sweater but it was cheaper to keep it and get the 25% discount for purchasing all five items than it was to send it back. The struggle is real. Anyway. It has these slits all the way up the sides (halfway to my armpits) and I think it's too flowy that it makes me look pregnant. Not the look I'm currently going for. Possibly in a size small I would like it better.
Zad Martini Mini layered metal cuff $28
I'm probably going to check off no more jewelry because she keeps sending me expensive necklaces but I did keep this cuff. I like bracelets and wear them sometimes. Generally I'm just a necklace girl but this is cute and multi-metal will make it versatile.
So... thinking about trying it? Use my referral link.

Father's Day 2016.
I'm getting a few more layouts done for 2016. This one is for the Let's Get Sketchy December week 1 sketch + this month's challenge at Picture This! to use shapes. I used stars.
My picture is an Instagram college my brother posted this summer. He and my dad and grandpa always go golfing on Father's day. I used all Elle's Studio papers and die cut pieces. Even though I used items from different collections, everything coordinates.
Thanks for looking!

joy.
My brother moved to Ohio with his girlfriend this fall (I know. It's crazy) and they went last weekend to see the lights at the Columbus zoo.
I'm entering this in the Anything Goes challenge at The Paper Girls + my inspiration was the December mood board at Paper Issues. Here is the mood board:
I really liked the black and white and red color scheme and I was drawn to the Christmas tree pillows. So I used a lot of black and white with some red and green and added die cut trees. Here is my page:
